It is used to facilitate pain management , disease prevention and promote life long vitality.

How does Acupuncture feel?
After careful insertion of the acupuncture needles, special learned techniques are used to bring about the Qi, or life force movement and sensation. Everyone experiences this feeling differently and may include a feeling of heaviness, pressure, a dull ache or an energized feeling at and around the insertion point. It may also take a few treatments for your body to respond and notice this sensation. If you do not feel anything the first couple of treatments it doesn’t mean that acupuncture isn’t working for you, your body may just need time to adjust to this movement of healing.
How does Acupuncture work?
Acupuncture works by utilizing a network of connections, called meridians, which exist between your internal organs, blood, body fluids, muscles and skin. Needling these specific acupoints along this map restores the proper balance and flow of Qi, while improving the overall function of your body and enhancing its recuperative power and immunity.

How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments required depends on the condition and how long the condition has been present. It is reasonable to consider that the longer the illness has been present, the longer it will take to see treatment results. For some acute conditions, it may take only 2-3 treatments. Some chronic conditions may take one or more courses of treatment, with each course being 10 sessions. Of course, every person is treated as an individual case and all results will invariably differ from person to person.
